Directed by Ingrid Marten, "Africa Shafted - Under One Roof" is a documentary about the Ponte Towers in Johannesberg, South Africa post-apartheid.
The film focuses on the thoughts, fears, reservations, beliefs and private lives of the over 4,000 tenants. As as well as the sheer intensity of this monolithic building and what it represents from the perspective of the filmmaker's travels up and down the building on the lifts and interacting with various folks along the way.
