Record stores are a rare commodity in the urban community....so when Fat Beats shut its doors it was a big blow to DJ's and vinyl collectors alike. Fortunately Fat Beats didn't go away quietly. They have a website where you can purchase vinyl as well as welcome folks we literally "dig in the crates" in their monthly warehouse events (the last event was in March at 110 Bridge Street in Brooklyn).
