Summer 2010 Has Officially Arrived!

Our blog has been pretty silent this past month between us escaping to a well deserved mini-vacay to Minnesota, finalizing bookings for upcoming Synch Rhythm events and strategizing the world takeover of Synchronized Rhythm (hehehe), we’ve been just too darn busy but we are back in full effect to bring you updates on what’s coming up on the cultural arts scene.

Last month, we had a blast in Minnesota—thanks to our extended family for welcoming us (you know who you are! –HUGS-), The New Congress for giving us a sneak peek on the newness from the band (thanks for the home invasion invite Stephanie and Russ! LOL) and The Devine Collection for showing us how funky Minne can get (what an amazing “collective” of talent all on one stage! Simply fantastic!).

Speaking of Minnesota….lol…we kicked off June aka music month (rightfully so) with Mint Condition. They performed last week Friday at the Nokia Theater – they switched and flipped their set list, tried a new song (we likes!) and as always the fellas gave a stellar performance!! The bonus for us was seeing opening acts - Laura Izibor for the first time and Dwele performing some oldies and new goodies for the crowd!

Oh what a night!!!

The summer season is just getting started and we have A LOT of cultural arts ground to cover during the remaining weeks ahead – this includes checking out one bad sista’s; Kimberly Nichole’s, listening party next week for her forthcoming re-release of Yellow Brick Journey (Reloaded), hip hop artist; Erick Arc Elliott performing in Brooklyn (SR’s lil bro with a strong voice that needs to be heard by the masses), another mini vacay (this time to Philly…besides the tourist thingy we will get into some "Tasty Treats" shenanigans—thanks for the event info Stacey “Flygirrl”) as well as indulging in cinema (BAM Cinema Fest 2010 @ www.bam.org), dance (Alvin Ailey Dance at Central Park’s Summerstage @ www.summerstage.org) and music (Revive Da Live at the Jazz Festival in Harlem @ revivemusicgroup.blogspot.com)…just to name a few. Whew!!!!

We hope to see you out and about the NYC at these and many other events….especially at our monthly spoken word and music series; the Synch Chronicles and our 3rd Year Anniversary celebration (in July—its gonna be insane!!!!).

Summer 2k10…LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
