Last week the music world lost the legendary, Teddy Pendergrass to complications from cancer. We mourn the loss of this commanding, soul stirring artist--who's songs transcend time but brings you back to place way, way back in time. He had countless hits that could make a person lose their inhibitions without being raunchy, degrading and self hating. His music was of timeless love even for one night. Whew! His craft was a gift and so was he--he overcame a near-fatal car accident many years ago and persevered through an illness which he eventually succumbed to.
