(Video) Sasha Allen's Whitney Houston Tribute

It's been two days since our beloved Whitney Houston left us. Her presence was missed at the Grammy's, felt at the BET Honors and will be remembered forever always in the music industry.

What has come out of the sorrowful time is the unveiling of my ears to the voice of Sasha Allen, who in memory of Ms Houston did a rendition of her hit remake "I Will Always Love You". That is not an easy song to sing and particularly because as our grief is still fresh in our hearts. I must say Sasha deserves kudos and then some for doing a beautiful job with remaking a favorite Whitney song of many! Her tone, highs and lows, and pauses are superb!

Forever Always...WHITNEY HOUSTON

Yesterday, we lost another legendary voice of our time, Whitney Elizabeth Houston, who was first and foremost a loving daughter, mother, sister, wife and inspiration to so many. Her life as will her musical gifts will be celebrated for days, weeks and years to come because she was timeless. We pray that strength and comfort is with her family. Please join us in prayer.

"There was Lena Horne. There is Dionne Warwick. But if the mantle is to pass to somebody who's 19, who's elegant, who's sensuous, who's innocent, who's got an incredible range of talent, but guts and soul at the same time, it will be Whitney Houston in my opinion," Davis said. "It's her natural charm. You either got it or you don't have it. She's got it."
