In a recent post on the Africa is a Country blog, I was intro'd to film maker, SHOLA AJAYI, and her web series "The African Experience in America". Her hilarious approach to varied Africans sharing their personal experiences was very unique! The experiences shared thus far range from Americans refusing to accept a name that they cannot pronounce so they rename you to make themselves feel comfortable (how rude is that?!) or people in utter disbelief that you are from a part of Africa that they simply cannot find.
