Catching Up - Actor Eric Benet, Harlem Film Fest, Girls Rock & More!!

Eric Benet adds lead actor to his resume!
We have to admit it’s been a bit quiet on our blog…we’ve been busy traveling the friendly skies, creating visual masterpieces and growing in our crafts. This is our FAVORITE time of year in the city where you need to get on EBay or Craigslist to cop a clone just to attend all of the events – yes its two of us running amuck in the city so that should be enough right?! NOT!! Ha!!

Here’s a few snippets of what’s ahead – be sure to stop by our Twitter page @synchrhhythm since we’re more active there on the daily – follow us and we'll follow back:

Eric Benet is not just a vocalist that renders you speechless and is pleasing to the eye – Besides working on yet another music project while his fans are still riding high from his 2010 release 'Lot in Time', he is starring in his first lead movie role as a father in “Trinity Good Heart” which isn’t a huge stretch from this proud dad – more info @ http://ow.ly/55bu2

Get in Mint Condition! You should already have Mint Condition’s latest release “7” in your music collection and have heard the single “Not My Daddy” that lead singer, Stokley Williams, performs with Kelly Price. Be sure to check their performance on the Mo’Nique show on Wed., June 1st - 11pm EST on BET

Over the next few weeks, be prepared for a sighting of the Synch Ladies at a few NYC events. We are incredibly psyched to check out the East Harlem International Film Festival this week from June 1st to 5th at various venues including Museo del Barrio (for information, visit http://www.ehiff.com/festival.html). Next weekend stop by Brooklyn’s Annual Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk for gallery shows, outdoor exhibits and special events for two days (for information, visit http://atlanticavenueartwalk.com/home/ ). On June 10th, join us for a great cause at the Girls Who Rock Fundraiser featuring performances by Kathy Sledge, KimberlyNichole, JoJo, Nikki Jean, Eddy and DJ Kiss (so far – more artists to be added!!). This concert is raising funds to support She's the First Partner School Arlington Academy of Hope (for information, visit http://girlswhorock2011.eventbrite.com/ ).

This summer is about to be crazy fun! Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and hope to see you around!!
