GET READY for the SUMMER JAM SESSION of the year!!

Join the ladies of Synchronized Rhythm, CAPRICE "STARBRITE" TODMANN AND CHANTE RAMSEY, as we celebrate our 3rd Year Anniversary at the SHRINE WORLD MUSIC VENUE; featuring our house band, SANKOFA SOULZ; who will rock-funk-soul the house down with their eclectic style of rhythms along with surprise guests and most importantly...YOU!

We invite ALL VOCALISTS, SPOKEN WORD ARTISTS AND RHYMERS to come through and show us what YOU can do!! If the mood strikes you to hit a chorus, do a little hip hop freestyling or kick a lil something from ya bass/horn/violin etc...we welcome it!!! In fact, we demand you to!!

WHO IS SANKOFA SOULZ you ask??? New Orleans native, TUT BURKS, is a musician/producer/teacher and student; now taking refuge in the borough of Brooklyn, New York, where he conveys social & spiritual truth through his musical genius while giving the listener something to groove to. In 2008, he formed the group "SANKOFA SOULZ"; playing throughout the Metropolitan area; and has travelled to various parts of the country sowing musical seeds in the minds and hearts of listeners. TUT continues to perform, as well as teach music, vocal and music instruction, to youth for a nonprofit organization in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn; and New York City Housing sites serving as a music consultant for the City of New York. Alos note, this band performed at last year's August Synch Chronicles!
